(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 19 - The no Green pass protest continues in Trieste. Last night part of the demonstrators present in piazzaUnità moved to the old port to continue the garrison, in agreement with the authorities. Others, on the other hand, remained in the square, where they spent the night. A small group is still near Gate 4 but the police do not allow them to approach the port area. On Saturday the presence of the Minister of Agricultural Policies, Stefano Patuanelli, is expected in Trieste, who, as reported by the protest, is expected to meet a delegation of demonstrators.
The objective, as repeatedly repeated, is to ask the Government to abolish the Green pass.
In the meantime, the square announced, the protest will continue.
Yesterday afternoon a group of demonstrators had tried to continue the garrison in front of port 4 of the Port, which was cleared in the morning by the police forces.
Clashes with the forces of order ensued that continued until evening.
Several times also from piazzaUnità some requests had been raised to garrison the airport again, a point in the city that remains under observation even while waiting to understand the intentions of the demonstrators.
