(ANSA) - NEW YORK, OCTOBER 19 - Netflix closes the third quarter with a profit above analysts' expectations of 1.44 billion dollars, or 3.19 dollars per share compared to 2.56 dollars on which the market was betting.
Revenues rose to 7.48 billion, in line with expectations.
Subscriptions rose by 4.38 million, beyond expectations, for a total of 213.56 million.
For the fourth quarter, Netflix expects 7.71 billion in revenues and earnings per share of 80 cents.
"We are still small enough with many opportunities to grow. In our largest market", the United States, "we are less than 10% of the time spent watching television."
Netflix states this, stating that 'Squid Game' is its most watched show ever.
