The strength of Afghan women in the 'Beauty amid War' exhibition

LECCE - The Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce opens a window on the difficult condition of women in Afghanistan through "Beauty amid War", the exhibition of the photographer Fatimah Hossaini, which tells the story of female beauty and the strength of Afghan women in war zones. The artist will be a guest of the Lecce Academy on October 22nd, at 11 am, for the inauguration of the personal exhibition. The minister of the University Cristina Messa will also participate. My photos show my often challenging artistic journey exploring the gender and sociological perspectives of Afghan society. Women have always been at the center of my work and I have tried to capture and redefine them by showing their beauty, their femininity and their hopes.
