The “WABetaInfo” portal already reported a new function at the beginning of October that allows voice messages to be listened to “in the background”.
In future, WhatsApp users will be able to write messages in the app while listening to a voice message.
This feature is particularly useful for long voice messages.
Now WhatsApp is apparently planning the next innovation.
According to "WABetaInfo", this is still in the development stage, but should soon be available for Apple and Android users.

The new WhatsApp function should make it easier to send voice messages.
Previously, users had to delete the voice messages and start over if they had to interrupt them, but users will soon be able to simply pause the voice message.
Long deliberations and stammering can be prevented, as users can pause the recording to organize their thoughts.
The new function could therefore also shorten the duration of the voice messages.
With a new button next to the "Send" symbol, the message can be interrupted without having to restart it.
The innovation should be available with an update for Android and Apple users.
According to "WABetaInfo", an exact date has not yet been set, the function is "under development".
