Queen Elizabeth was forced to cancel a two-day visit to Northern Ireland after her doctors invited her to "rest for a few days".
This was announced in a statement from Buckingham Palace quoted by the British media.
"The Queen reluctantly accepted the doctors' advice. She is in good spirits and regrets not being able to visit Northern Ireland," a statement read.
The rest imposed on the 95-year-old Elizabeth II would be a precaution of her doctors.
Despite enjoying excellent health, in fact, the queen is still of an age that in some cases forces her to slow down her always very busy agenda of public appointments.
It is not surprising to the British media that they told her to rest because the last two weeks have been very busy for her.
