(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 20 - The press conferences of prosecutors in the course of the investigations may be held only if authorized by the Prosecutor of the Republic "with a motivated act in relation to the specific reasons of public interest that justify it".
This is foreseen by the opinion on the legislative decree on the presumption of innocence, deposited in the Justice committees of the Chamber and Senato by the rapporteurs, Enrico Costa and Andrea Ostellari, at the end of a majority meeting.
Last week the majority split over a previous opinion that had not been voted on.
The opinion will be voted in the afternoon in both houses of Parliament.
