(ANSA) - TOKYO, OCTOBER 20 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange extends its gains at the beginning of the session, following the acceleration of the USA stock indices supported by the encouraging start of the quarterly season and the weakening process of the yen on the main currencies.
The Nikkei marks a progress of 0.65% to 29,215.52, with an increase of 190 points.
On the currency market, the Japanese currency trades against the dollar at a level of 114.50 and against the euro at 133.20.
