For 1 springform pan (26 cm diameter) you need:
Butter for the mold
3 eggs
200 g soft butter
130 g of sugar
150 g of flour
50 g cornstarch
1/2 packet of baking powder
700 g plums
Icing sugar for dusting

Easy Recipe: Here's How to Bake the Sunken Plum Cake
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
Grease the springform pan with butter.
Beat the eggs with the butter and sugar until frothy.
Add the flour, cornstarch and baking powder and whisk in the ingredients only briefly.
Pour the batter into the springform pan.
Wash and cut the plums in half, remove the stones.
Halve the plum halves again.
Now cover the dough with the plums and press the fruit a little into the dough.
Bake the plum cake in the oven on the middle rack for about 40 minutes.
Do the chopsticks test towards the end of the baking time.
Let the cake cool slightly and dust it with powdered sugar if you like.
