Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to expel ambassadors to Turkey from Canada, France, Finland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and the US.
"I told our interior minister that we cannot allow ourselves the luxury of hosting these people in our country," said Erdogan, referring to the ten ambassadors as reported by the Anadolu agency.
Heads of diplomatic missions presented a joint statement on October 18 for the release of Turkish philanthropist Osman Kavala in prison since 2017.
