Investigators in Hesse took action against a group of alleged right-wing extremists.
Nine men and three women are accused, among other things, of using symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations, said the State Criminal Police Office in Wiesbaden.
Incitement to hatred and dissemination, acquisition and possession of child pornographic content are also among the allegations.
The suspects are between 14 and 54 years old.
The raids took place on Wednesday morning in the districts of Marburg-Biedenkopf, Darmstadt-Dieburg, Kassel and in the Odenwaldkreis.
The police seized various storage media.
There were no arrests.
A total of eight apartments were searched.
Also on Wednesday morning there was a search of a 57-year-old in Wiesbaden who was accused of membership in a criminal organization.
This is an investigation by the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office, which it reported on Wednesday.
This process involves a right-wing extremist group called the »Berserker Clan«.
Those involved are said to have exchanged views on an armed uprising against the existing structures in Germany.
