The flu vaccine can be given at the pharmacy

A protocol signed with Federfarma-Assofarm for the administration of anti-flu serums by pharmacists was approved at the State-Regions Conference.
"This is a proposal positively evaluated by the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces" explained the President of Molise, Donato Toma (who today chaired the Conference of Regions) and Raffaele Donini, coordinator of the Health Commission of the Conference of Regions and Councilor of Emilia-Romagna.
"I am really satisfied that the proposal that I had brought to the Health Commission in the Conference of the Regions has been approved. Citizens who do not have pathologies - adds Donini - will be able to buy the vaccine at the pharmacy and have it administered by the pharmacist himself. Those who have instead pathologies are among the most fragile categories for which the flu vaccine is already insured free of charge. For our country this is a real revolution, strongly desired by the Regions and discussed in the Health Commission, which goes in the direction of so-called "service pharmacies", places that will increasingly be able to provide citizens with real health services. An extra piece - concludes Donini - for the composition of a new local health system,proximity, an objective we strive for with all our energies and which the PNRR itself focuses on as an expected result ".
