(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 21 - "The defense ministers who will meet today in Brussels will discuss, among other issues, Afghanistan. We are at the beginning of a path and it is soon to draw conclusions. The return of the Taliban is a tragedy for the Afghan people, but we must nevertheless recognize that in the past years we have achieved a series of achievements. Our mission has not been in vain. " This was said by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the occasion of the first day of the ministerial defense in Brussels.

"We must remain vigilant and preserve the achievements achieved in the past years", he specified. "We will also deal with many other issues related to security - added the Norwegian politician - and also with artificial intelligence". (HANDLE).
