(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, OCTOBER 21 - Pope Francis launches an appeal to Italian Catholics to have "more courage" to escape "from the crisis generated by Covid".
The words of the Pontiff come from the message sent to the 49th Social Week of Italian Catholics which opens today in Taranto.
"This appointment - says Francesco - has a special flavor. There is a need to meet and see each other in the face, to smile and plan, to pray and dream together. This is all the more necessary in the context of the crisis generated by Covid, a health and social crisis at the same time. To get out of this, a little more courage is also required from Italian Catholics ".
