When the acting legend Romy Schneider died in 1982, her only daughter Sarah Biasini was just five years old.
Today Biasini is 44 years old, an actress - and has a daughter herself.
She thinks of her famous mother every day, Biasini told the "Bunte" in an interview.
“It's painful.
It reminds me of the emptiness in me because it is no longer there. "
Childhood, adolescence, adulthood - Biasini had to go through all of this without her mother.
Biasini grew up with her father, the real estate agent and writer Daniel Biasini.
He married Schneider in 1975.
Biasini is still concerned with the void left by her mother: »How would our relationship be today if she were still there?
How about a grandma? ”Said Biasini.
“I'm an adult and I have to deal with the loss.
But of course the pain will never go away. "
Biasini herself is the mother of a three-year-old daughter.
When asked if she would talk to her about the famous grandma, Biasini said,
“
Of course.
I want my daughter to find out about her grandmother. ”Perhaps the child will do their own research and learn German.
"Who knows.
She will find her own way to deal with it.
I will support them in this. "
Romy Schneider died of heart failure on May 29, 1982 at the age of 43.
A year earlier she had filed for divorce from Daniel Biasini.
Her son David Christopher died in an accident in 1981 at the age of 14.
The reason for the “Bunte” interview is a book that Biasini wrote about the life and death of Romy Schneider.
In "The Beauty of Heaven" Biasini wrote a letter to her three-year-old daughter Anna and told the child about his famous grandmother.
