(ANSA) - BEIJING, OCTOBER 21 - South Korea today launched its first nationally developed space rocket, in the latest attempt to promote its ambitious program by joining the restricted global space club.
The KSLV-II - also known as Nuri - took off from the NaroSpace Center in the southern coastal village of Goheung at 5:00 pm local time (10:00 am in Italy), an hour late on the schedule, according to the Ministry of Science.
