(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 21 - In Washington the chamber of the Chamber voted to hold Steve Bannon criminally responsible for the crime of contempt of Congress.
Aid-Democrats were joined by nine Republican deputies.
Bannon refused to testify before the commission of inquiry into the attack on Capitol Hill on January 6, conducted by a crowd of Donald Trump supporters in order to overturn the outcome of the presidential elections.
Now the word goes to the Department of Justice who will have to decide whether to follow Bannon who faces up to one years in prison.
