A fatal accident occurred on the Swiss mountain Matterhorn.
As the police in the canton of Valais announced, two men wanted to climb the summit the day before.
At an altitude of around 4,140 meters, the two fell from the north face for reasons that are still unknown.
The alpinists were roped up on the ascent.
The men born in 1996 and 1997 were found dead.
The public prosecutor is now investigating the cause of the accident.
At 4,400 meters, the Matterhorn is one of the highest mountains in the Alps and the fifth highest mountain in Switzerland.
