In Africa, for example, at least 5% of the population has been vaccinated against 40% in most of the other continents.


    "I can tell you that we are not on the right track," said Dr. Aylward as reported by the BBC.

"We have to accelerate otherwise this pandemic will go on for a year longer than necessary."
