(ANSA) - LOS ANGELES (USA), OCTOBER 22 - It was actor Alec Baldwin who pulled the trigger of the prop gun that he shot killing a woman and injuring a man during the New Mexico shooting of the western film 'Rust'.
Local authorities make it known.
The victim is 42-year-old director of photography Halyna Hutchins, while 48-year-old director Joel Souza was injured in the shooting.
At the moment, no charges have been formalized for the incident, which is under investigation.
Hutchins and Souza "were shot when Baldwin loaded a gun used in filming the film," the Santa Fe sheriff said, explaining that the director of photography later died from the severity of the injuries.
