At least seven people were killed in an explosion in a gunpowder factory in Russia.
The authorities said 17 people were injured in the accident in a factory hall on Friday.
According to initial findings, nine people were missing.
The plant is located near the city of Ryazan about 200 kilometers southeast of Moscow.
The cause of the explosion is so far unclear.
According to the Ministry of Civil Protection, there was initially no danger to the population.
