(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 23 - New rules for "the achievement of effective gender equality" at the Farnesina.
They are contained in an internal circular signed by the secretary general EttoreSequi, which focuses in particular on three aspects: the setting of working methods, the protection of parenthood and the organization of events in Italy and abroad.
In each of them, according to what is learned, the need to create an inclusive work environment is emphasized, in which "the contribution of all the components, and in particular of the female one, is fully exploited".
"Ultimately, it is a question of helping to promote a more just, plural, representative and efficient society, as well as for the Farnesina to adopt and support the highest standards on gender equality, in harmony with the main international partners and multilateral organizations", writes Sequi in circular.
