The foreign ministry in Pristina today denounced the ban on the Kosovo boxing team from entering Serbia to participate in the boxing world championship scheduled for tomorrow and until 6 November in Belgrade.
According to the Kosovar press, reported by the Serbian media, the Kosovo delegation was asked to leave sports suits and shirts with the national symbols of Kosovo, of which Serbia does not recognize independence, at the border.
When the Kosovar leaders refused, the Serbian police prevented the squad and the entire delegation from entering the country.
