The corona has already taken a huge toll on victims, but there is one population that has actually been vaccinated with all the vaccines, but still many of them have died in an attempt to defeat the plague.

A new report by the World Health Organization has determined that the corona has severely affected health care teams and may have caused the deaths of between 80,000 and 180,000 people.

The deaths occurred between January 2020 and May this year.

It is estimated that there are 135 million healthcare workers worldwide.

"Data from 199 countries indicate that, on average, two out of five health workers around the world are fully vaccinated," said World Health Organization chief Dr. Tedros Adhanum Jabraisos. "Health care workers should be given priority in accessing vaccines," Tedros said, criticizing the unfairness of the distribution of vaccines.

"In Africa, less than one in 10 health workers is fully vaccinated. Meanwhile, in most high-income countries, more than 80 percent of health workers are fully vaccinated."

The data also showed that less than 5 percent of Africa's population was resilient, compared to 40 percent in most other continents.

The vast majority of corona vaccines have been used in high- or middle-income countries.

Africa currently accounts for only 2.6 percent of the vaccines given worldwide.

The World Health Organization wants each country to vaccinate 40 percent of its population by the end of the year, but Tedros said 82 countries are now at risk of missing out on that target, largely because of insufficient supplies.

Failure to provide enough vaccines to poor countries was highlighted earlier by Dr. Bruce Eyalward, a senior leader of the World Health Organization, who made it clear that this means the corona crisis could "easily continue until 2022". Cause the epidemic to continue next year as

well. The corona has killed at least 4.9 million people since the outbreak in China in December 2019 and nearly 242 million people have contracted the disease, according to a summary from official sources collected by AFP.
