Apparently a 14-year-old girl was killed in Munich.
A police spokesman said on Sunday that there was violence and that it was assumed to be a homicide.
The suspect is a 17-year-old from Munich.
He is being searched for.
Initially, the »Bild« reported on it.
"We assume that they knew each other beforehand," said the police spokesman on Sunday lunchtime.
Initially, a police spokesman referred to the 17-year-old as the girl's ex-boyfriend, and there was also talk of stab wounds.
The police initially did not provide any information about why the 17-year-old is considered a suspect.
The police had been called to the house in Munich's Bogenhausen district on Sunday morning.
The act probably happened during the night, said the spokesman.
Rescue workers tried in vain to reanimate the girl.
On Sunday lunchtime there was a major police operation in the east of Munich.
A hundred searched the area, according to the police, this is routine in a homicide.
The girl's body is to be autopsied.
According to the police, it was still unclear when the autopsy would take place on Sunday afternoon.
