In Lützow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, an 18-year-old attacked several visitors to a festival.
The young man was drunk, rioted, and lashed out by the autumn fire.
Police could only take him into custody under massive resistance, according to a press release.
The father, who was also drunk, had meanwhile interfered in the action and, like his son, hit and kicked festival visitors and police officers.
Both father and son were then taken into custody, and five people at the festival and three policemen were injured as a result of the attacks.
A 17-year-old came to the hospital.
The other injured suffered bruises and a bite wound.
