Élisabeth Borne, the Minister of Labor, wants to dust off a useful device which has never found its audience.


The validation of acquired experience (VAE) could prove to be central in the government's desire to improve the employability of employees and facilitate their mobility.

This procedure makes it possible to obtain a diploma, a title or a qualification recognized by the State thanks to his professional experience.

But this third access path to certification suffers from an administrative complexity that is far too overwhelming.

"The law governing the VAE is almost 20 years old and, it must be admitted, the procedures are particularly complicated",

recognizes without difficulty the entourage of Elisabeth Borne, the Minister of Labor.

"too cumbersome procedures"

which prevent the development of VAE in

"certain sectors of activity or for certain levels of qualification".
