The fourth edition of the Castel Volturno (Caserta) Film Festival is starting, which will be held throughout the week through 25 Italian and foreign short films and the protagonists of those who make cinema.
The event, directed by
Daniela Cenciotti
and organized by
Paola Esposito and Emanuela De Marco
of Titania, will end on October 30 and will have
Nancy Brilli
as godmother
.
"In Castel Volturno - says Daniela Cenciotti, wife of the late Carlo Croccolo - cinema is a job opportunity, it is creativity, redemption and culture, it is a way to affirm one's identity and that is why the vocation of the Festival is training of young people ". In addition to the expert jury, the
Youth
Jury was created
. Both will decide the winner of the prize for best short film. "Involving the youngest - adds Cenciotti - means creating debate and educating to vision, training the viewer of tomorrow. For this reason we have decided to place them at the center of the project, offering the possibility of following - during the morning and afternoon - interactive workshops with experts in the sector, so that the children can also enjoy the behind the scenes and all the commitment behind the cinematographic technique ".
During the event also falls the
International Day of Animation
(IAD), October 28th. Thus, for the first time, a section entirely dedicated to animation cinema was introduced, thanks to the collaboration with an exceptional partner with great experience in this sector, the Cultural Association Camera Film.
Thanks to the return to 100% of the capacity of the cinemas, the hope of the organizers is that citizens - and not just cinephiles - will be able to come in large numbers.
