(ANSA) - BEIJING, OCTOBER 25 - Evergrande leaps (+ 4%) to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange following the announcement of the resumption of work on construction sites in Shenzhen and in other 5 Chinese cities to ensure the completion and delivery of over a dozen main real estate projects: the move, announced in a post on social media, was taken to strengthen the confidence of the market after Friday's payment of 83.5 million dollars of overdue interest.

Subsidiary Evergrande New Energy Vehicle (NEV) soars 17% after group chairman Hui Ka Yan said it will make the electric car business lead by 10 years by pushing real estate.

Surprisingly, Evergrande paid $ 83.5 million in interest on an offshore bond that expired on September 23 on Friday, allocating resources on the eve of the end of the 30-day grace period before default.

The group, however, is just out of danger, as other coupons close to the end of the tolerance period are emerging: one of 45.2 million will expire on 29 October and another 14.25 million the following day.
