(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 25 - If the EU Commission "starts the third world war" on the subject of respect for the rule of law, we will defend ourselves "with all weapons at our disposal".
The Polish premier, MateuszMorawiecki said in an interview with the Financial Times, when asked whether Poland is ready to veto critical decisions on legislation such as the EU climate package.
"If someone attacks us in an absolutely unfair way - he added - we will defend ourselves in every possible way. We believe that this is already a discriminatory approach and a diktat" of Brussels.
"But if it gets worse, we'll have to think about our strategy."
