Twist of fate?
Just a year ago, Anna Netrebko was hospitalized to treat pneumonia caused by the coronavirus, making it impossible for her to participate in the Bolshoi Theater season.
At the end of October, the Russian soprano is once again forced to cancel her performances, this time in Vienna.

“I have suffered debilitating pain for many months and my doctor advised me to undergo emergency surgery and then begin rehabilitation to resolve the problem.
I'm sorry to miss my dear Viennese audience this time around, and look forward to playing for you again very soon.
