In addition to the numbers from one to five, the heating controller - or thermostat - is provided with symbols such as a sun or a snowflake.
The sun is at level three and marks an
ideal temperature
for rooms in which we stay during the day.
This includes, for example, the living room or a study.
It can also be a few degrees cooler in the bedroom.

The snowflake symbol usually represents a
frost protection
function. The heating starts automatically when the temperatures are too low and the radiator could freeze.
