The 79-year-old musician explained that he would no longer sign autographs because he finds the practice strange. The former Beatles isn't a big fan of selfies either.

Since the 1960s and the beginning of the Beatles, the musician has always shown great kindness during his public appearances.

To get a photo, it is also a failure. Concerned about his image, the musician explains that removing autographs and selfies would make the experience more user-friendly for both parties, but mainly for him.

"We end up with an ugly photo with a terrible background and me with a sad look

.

"

So, he offers an alternative:

“Let's discuss, let's exchange stories”

.

A pioneer, drummer Ringo Starr had definitively banned the era of autographs in 2008 to avoid any fanatical greed.

“I don't do autographs.

All of my autographs are on stuff I made.

On a painting or something that has to do with me and will go to charity.

I don't want it to be sold by people, ”

he told the Press Association at the time.

Comment reiterated in a short video the same year, where Starr claimed he would no longer sign any memorabilia and fan mail would be thrown away.

"Anyway, peace and love!"

he repeats.

The admirers are rather upset.
