Covid-19 in France: 38 new deaths, hospitalizations slightly increasing

This Tuesday, 1,049 people are treated in these critical care services reserved for the most severe cases.


According to the latest report from Public Health France, 6,445 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized in the country on Monday against 6,405 on Monday and 6,483 last Tuesday.

Of these patients, 316 were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours.

The number of seriously ill people is also slightly up: with 112 new entries in critical care services, 1,049 people are being cared for on Tuesday in these units reserved for the most severe cases.

They were 1023 the day before and 1046 seven days ago.

In the past 24 hours, 38 people have died after being infected with Covid-19.

Since the start of the epidemic, more than 117,500 people have died in France.
