He was the secret star of the NDR series »Neues aus Büttenwarder«, when Uncle Krischan was always on the lookout for »a Schmök«: Now the actor Hans Kahlert is dead. He died at the age of 87 in Hamburg.
The NDR announced.
Kahlert has been in front of the camera in »News from Büttenwarder« as the uncle of Adsche Tönnsen (Peter-Heinrich Brix) since 2005.
He was also involved in the last four »Büttenwarder« episodes, which will be shown in this year's Christmas program on NDR television.
In previous years he was also a guest in NDR “Tatort” films and in “Großstadtrevier”.
“It is a great art for an actor to embody people who are many years or even decades older than themselves,” said NDR program director Frank Beckmann, according to the announcement: “As a 106-year-old Uncle Krischan, Hans Kahlert has made himself indelible
played into the hearts of Büttenwarder fans.
His fine, modest manner made him stand out. "
Kahlert was born in 1934 in Riga, Latvia.
As a 20-year-old, he took private acting lessons without his parents' knowledge - he secretly earned the money in a factory.
He made his stage debut in "Nathan the Wise" at the Summer Games in Dinkelsbühl.
Stations at various theaters in Germany followed.
From 1983 on, Kahlert was seen at the Karl May Festival, first in Elspe, then in Bad Segeberg.
