A rainforest worker in Dominica last week published jaw-dropping documentation of what has been described in the media as "the largest snake in the world" - and is probably the largest snake you will ever see in such a situation.

According to the video, the snake appears to be more than three meters long and was observed lurking for prey.

The workers who had to cut down the trees on the spot had to move it away and had to use a crane.

The British "Sun" reported that the snake was taken alive to a place of safety.

The video was posted on every possible social network and garnered tens of millions of views.

In another video from another angle you can see the workers struggling in an attempt to get the snake into the vehicle due to its huge size and weight.

"It's definitely a world record. The Guinness must be seen," one wrote in response to a post-reddit and another added: "It's perhaps the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life. Not maybe. Sure."

The Caribbean forest where the snake is located extends to a length of only 46 km and a width of 25 km and has earned the nickname "Island of Nature" thanks to the variety of wildlife found in it.

It is not clear what type and species the huge snake appears in the videos, although it is known that one of the most prominent species on the Caribbean island is the deadly common choking rabbi that can reach a length of about 3 meters.

The snake, also known as the bolt snake, is not venomous but is definitely dangerous.

He ambushes the plants and grabs the prey between his vertebrae to strangle him to death - and then swallows it whole.

Although the headlines in the world that reported the documentation crowned the snake as "the largest in the world", if it is estimated that it is a 3 meter long snake then it is not even the longest bolt snake in the world, as they can reach a length of over 4 meters, with dark anaconda and reticulated bait They are considered the largest snakes in the world with a length of up to 10 meters and a weight of 500 kg.
