"Taiwan has no right to participate in the UN," said the spokesman for the Beijing Government Office for Business with Taipei, Ma Xiaoguang, as the "United Nations is an international government organization made up of sovereign states".
Yesterday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken called on UN countries to support Taiwan's "robust and significant participation in the UN system".
