Ingredients

    • 200 grams of soft butter, at room temperature

    • ⅔ Sugar powder (80 g)

    • 2 teaspoons lemon / orange / grapefruit / lime zest - it is recommended to mix several types

    • 1 cup ground almonds (100 g)

    • ¼1 cups flour (175 g)

    • Pinch of salt

Preparation

How to make butter and citrus cookies?

  • 1 Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line an oven pan with parchment paper.

  • 2 In a mixer bowl with a guitar hook process the butter, powdered sugar and grated citrus for a few minutes on medium speed until an apple cream is obtained.

  • 3 Add the almonds, flour and salt and process until a uniform and soft dough is obtained.

  • 4 Transfer the dough to a sprinkling bag with a serrated center and sprinkle with roses.

    The dough spreads slightly during baking, so it is important to keep spaces between the dough drizzles.

  • Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cookies begin to brown slightly at the edges and remove from the oven.

    Cool completely and dust with powdered sugar.
