Strong symbol, for the first new production of Serge Dorny, which changes gear from the Opéra de Lyon, to which it has given an international aura, to that of Bavaria, one of the greatest houses of the lyrical planet.
A "first first" is always a declaration of intent for a new director.
This one sends some messages: Munich will be a place of modernity, we will play titles that were not frequent there, and the opera will be a place of reflection on our society, rather than of entertainment.
All in an exemplary musical production.
