Sudan: Blinken hears the premier and appeals to the military

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, OCTOBER 26 - Antony Blinken, the Secretary of the American State, had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Sudan Abdallah Amdock, who returned home after being arrested.

Blinken said he was pleased with his release and urged the military to release all detained civilian leaders and ensure their safety.


    In the meantime, protests continue in the country despite a lasting pressure.
