EU, G20 aims at 70% of the world population vaccinated

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 28 - "From a pandemic point of view, the main objective is the commitment of the G20 to reach the target of 70% of the vaccinated population in the world. The EU has kept its promise: at least one dose out of two those produced in Europe are and will be exported to the world.

   And next year we expect more than 3.5 billion doses of vaccine produced in the EU, the majority of which will be exported ".

This was stated by the president of the EU commission Ursula von der Leyenn during the press conference on the G20 in Rome.
