(ANSA) - CAGLIARI, OCTOBER 29 - The alleged murderer of Alessio Madeddu, 52, the fisherman and cook from Teulada found dead yesterday in front of his sister in Porto Budello in Teulada, on the southwestern coast of Sardinia, was arrested during the night.
A baker from Sant'Anna Arresi, Angelo Brancasi, 43, originally from Erice, ended up in handcuffs late at night.
As anticipated by L'Unione Sarda, the man allegedly confessed to the crime by telling investigators that he had killed the chef because he was jealous of his wife who worked at the restaurant and with whom the victim allegedly had a clerical relationship.
