As soon as the advance booking began, it was already over: for the first concert by superstar Adele, the ticket website quickly reported "sold out" on Saturday - to the horror of many fans.
Anger and sadness were great on social media, as the newspaper "The Sun" reported.
"How can it be that there were no more tickets at 10:01 am when my waiting time had expired?" Wrote one user.
Advance sales began at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Quite a few people tried to log into the website on time.
Some fans complained that the cards, which cost at least 90 pounds, would soon be offered on platforms like Ebay - for a multiple of the actual price.
Recently, some fans had already complained about problems with the advance booking on Adele's own side, which partially collapsed in the face of the onslaught.
Others criticized that they had tickets for concerts of the Adele tour 2017, which had been canceled due to an illness - and now received no ticket for the new appearances.
Adele will perform at the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park, London on July 1st and 2nd.
She recently released a new single, "Easy On Me", for the first time in years, and her new album "30" will be out soon.
