(ANSA) - BEIJING, OCTOBER 30 - Beijing closes part of its cinema, in the face of an increase in Covid-19 cases throughout China - less than 300, but already too many for the 'zero tolerance' decided by the government - which now affect about ten provinces of the country.
Yesterday there were 59 new cases, of which two in the capital.
To curb the spread of the virus in the capital and its region, all cinemas in the Xicheng district - which has more than one million inhabitants - will remain closed until 14 November.
China adopts the utmost caution against Covid also because there are one hundred days to go before the Beijing Winter Olympics, which open on February 4.
