(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 30 - The G20 officially kicks off in Rome. At 10, at the Eur Cloud, the arrival of the leaders welcomed by Prime Minister Mario Draghi, focused on the themes of the fight against the pandemic and above all climate change, a central knot to be solved. '' Multilateralism is the best answer to the problems we see today. In many ways it is the only possible answer, from the pandemic, to the climate, to taxation. It is not an option. We must overcome our differences and rediscover the spirit of this forum ", said Prime Minister Mario Draghia at the G20 in Rome, with a speech on the occasion of the primopanel, 'Global Economy and Global Health'." We can finally look to the future with optimism ". 'nice to see you, after the global community dealt with the pandemic, the covid had divided us,and then also "protectionism and nationalism".
"We are building a new economic model and the world will be better," said the premier in his opening speech.
