The teddy bear will be out of the ProSieben show "The Masked Singer" on Saturday evening due to illness.
Despite a full vaccination against the corona virus, the singer under the teddy costume fell ill with Covid-19, the broadcaster announced a few hours before the live show.
The teddy is in quarantine, but is fine - and should therefore be back in the fourth show next week.
Littbarski and Riewa already exposed
In “The Masked Singer”, well-known people sing under elaborate costumes and try to disguise their true identity.
The disguised are exposed as soon as they don't get enough votes or win at the very end.
Football world champion Pierre Littbarski and Tagesschau chief spokesman Jens Riewa have already been revealed as participating celebrities in the current season.
In the message from Saturday, ProSieben pointed out that the "The Masked Singer" team followed strict hygiene concepts and all corona protective measures.
The 2G rule applies in the studio, so only vaccinated and convalescents have access.
In addition, a daily negative test result must be available.
