The season has begun: Dozens of sharks have arrived in Israel;

Every autumn, usually in November, grayish sharks and their fins come to power stations around the country - where they enjoy the hot water that leaves the station after cooling the turbines.
In the last week, several dozen of them were observed, documented by photographer Ilan Algarbeli.

Like every year, towards the winter, this year too the sharks began to reach the shores of Hadera, to the area of the Orot Rabin power station, where they are waiting for the hot water coming out of the station after the turbines have cooled.

"Because such a coastal band attracts a lot of attention, in recent years a lot of visitors have come to watch sharks and even started to enter the water - divers, snorkelers, swimmers, surfers, saps and just visitors," explains Brush.
"The congestion and overcrowding at the site create an illogical situation where dozens of people stand in the way of several dozen large wildlife. Although sharks are delicate animals, the level of congestion and stress creates an unexpected situation that should be avoided."
