While the current storm reaches its maximum power, with rains in the north and central Tyrrhenian area, a new cyclone is expected to arrive in Italy on Wednesday 3 November, with thunderstorms and cold. This is indicated by the site iLMeteo.it.
After a brief respite from the rain scheduled for Tuesday 2 November, a new perturbation is expected for the following day accompanied by cold air from Northern Europe, with the risk of heavy rains and thunderstorms over a large part of the Center-North. It is also foreseen, according to the law, that subsequently the deterioration will reach Campania, where "real storms with strong winds will be possible, especially close to the coasts".
With the arrival of cold air, according to iLMeteo.it, "a sharp drop in temperatures is expected, more noticeable in the northern regions" and snowfalls are possible in the Alpine area, initially at altitudes around 1,500 meters and from Thursday probably also between 1,200 and a thousand meters, in Lombardy and all over the Dolomites "with the snow that could whiten places such as Livigno (SO), Madonna di Campiglio (TN), Solda (BZ) and Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL)".
