In an accident with a horse-drawn carriage, five people were injured, some seriously, in Schleswig-Holstein.
As the police announced on Monday in Neumünster, the accident occurred on Saturday on a street near the municipality of Todenbüttel in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district.
The draft horse went through when it encountered a tractor and turned right into another street with the carriage.
As a result, the carriage tipped over and the passengers fell out.
Local residents stop horse
Of the seven inmates who were on a family outing, according to the police, three were seriously injured and two were slightly injured.
The horse reportedly continued to run with the empty carriage before it was stopped by residents.
According to the police, the accident occurred even though the tractor had slowed down.
