(ANSA) - ROME, 02 NOV - A vast Atlantic perturbation will reach most of Italy from next night, causing a phase of marked bad weather especially in the Center-North and part of the South. This is indicated by the Civil Protection, which issued a weather alert.
The warning foresees from the early hours of tomorrow rainfall, which is mainly a downpour or thunderstorm, on Liguria, northern Tuscany and Sardinia. From the early morning of tomorrow, Lazio, Campania, Abruzzo and Molise were also involved, with more persistent phenomena close to the Apennine sectors, as well as Lombardy and Veneto, especially the Alpine sectors and northern Puglia. The phenomena will be accompanied by showers of strong intensity, frequent electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.
Evaluated for tomorrow orange alert for hydrogeological risk on part of Campania, Lazio, Molise, Abruzzo and Sardinia.
The alert is yellow on the remaining sectors of Campania, Lazio, Molise, Abruzzo and Sardinia and on part of Lombardy, Tuscany, Veneto, Liguria, Basilicata, Puglia and the Umbrian inter-territory.
