Professional football player Henry Ruggs III was involved in a serious car accident that resulted in death.
On Tuesday night there was a clash between Ruggs' Chevrolet Corvette and a Toyota Rav4 in Las Vegas, from which the police recovered a fatality.
The Toyota caught fire in the accident.
According to the police, Ruggs showed "signs of impairment".
The Raiders player, who sustained no life-threatening injuries, has been investigated for driving under influence resulting in death.
The 22-year-old Ruggs is a wide receiver for the Las Vegas Riders of the National Football League.
The club is in second place in the AFC season with five wins and two losses.
Ruggs has caught 24 passes for the Raiders this season, including two touchdowns.
